Do I need any tools to assemble EWA models?
Some models include sandpaper, paraffine candles and paper clips. That will be great if you have a stationery knife to cut some burrs if necessary and glue for models are assembled with it.
Do I need to cut out the details?
No, the parts are already cut and need to be pushed out of a plank. They are held on very small wooden connectors. If a part couldn't be removed, you just need to cut a connector with a knife.
What are some tips for assembling?
It's necessary to press details out of a plank from the side where the drawing of lines on a plywood plank is bold. We recommend to check all gears before the assembling and cut all burrs on gears teeth with a knife for correct engine work.
Can I color EWA models?
Sure! It's possible, but we recommend to use water based paints. Please, don't use paints that make thick layer on details: they can obstruct the work of gears.
Can children assemble EWA models?
You can certainly entrust the assembling process for a child over the age of 14. Our goal is to unite children and parents, and so if something goes wrong, a child can assemble it with parents.
